1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Password Generator mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must uninstall and discontinue use of the App immediately.


2. Description of Service

Password Generator, developed by Arnold Vaz, is a utility application designed to generate randomized text strings locally on your device based on your selected parameters (such as Lower Case, Upper Case, Number Format, Symbols, and Similar Characters). The App operates entirely offline and does not store, transmit, or synchronize generated passwords to any external servers.


3. User Responsibilities

While the App is designed to generate highly secure and complex passwords, security is a shared responsibility. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Password Management: You are solely responsible for safely storing, remembering, or managing the passwords you generate. The App does not save a history of your generated passwords. If you lose a generated password, it cannot be recovered by the App or its developer.
  2. Device Security: The security of the generated passwords relies on the physical and digital security of your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure from unauthorized access, malware, or screen-recording software.
  3. Clipboard Usage: If you utilize the "Copy To Clipboard" feature, the password is handled by your device's operating system. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party keyboard extensions, clipboard managers, or cloud-syncing clipboard features that may intercept or store this data.
  4. Lawful Use: You agree to use the generated passwords only for lawful purposes to secure your own personal accounts and data.

4. Disclaimers and Limitations on Security Claims

  1. "As Is" Service: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Arnold Vaz makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation.
  2. Entropy and "Un-Hackable" Metrics: Any visual indicators of password strength, bits of entropy, or terms such as "UN-HACKABLE" displayed within the App represent mathematical estimations of theoretical brute-force resistance. They do not constitute a legal guarantee of absolute security. No digital system is completely immune to compromise, particularly those involving human error, phishing, or third-party platform breaches.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to its source code, user interface, design, graphics, and the Arnold Vaz branding, are owned by Arnold Alwyn Vaz. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the App without explicit written permission.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Arnold Alwyn Vaz, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Loss of data, accounts, or personal information.
  2. Financial loss or identity theft resulting from compromised accounts.
  3. Damages resulting from malware, keyloggers, or compromised clipboard data on your device.

Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.


7. Privacy Integration

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our strict "Zero Data" collection practices. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge that you have read and understand the Privacy Policy.


8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maharashtra, India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the App shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in the Vasai-Virar region of Maharashtra, India, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be updated within the "Legal Information" section of the App. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
